Hydrophilic rubber water-stop was granted a patent by China Patent Office back in 1996 under the patent certificate No. ZL 95229321.8. Since the Hydrophilic Rubber Water Stop utilizes hydrophilic rubber along its waterproofing line, expansion occurs when coming in contact with water, adding to the tightness between the Rubber Water Stop strip and the civil structure, thus, improving its waterproofing and water stopping capability, solving the traditional problem of water leak around the water stopping line, with numerous setbacks of traditional Rubber Water Stop strips being avoided.
